For everyday tension
This program is intended for adults facing occasional pressure, circling thoughts or physical tension related to everyday life. An express session is available for a brief moment; the other sessions progressively establish points of reference for breathing, attention and relaxation. The aim is to regain a little room, not to remove every emotion.
How does the journey work?
You set up the program in a few steps, then Souffle offers a practice suited to the current day of the journey. You can choose a voice available on your device, adjust its speed, turn the soundscape on or off and stop whenever you wish. “If–then” plans help you prepare a concrete response: for example, “if I feel my shoulders tighten before a meeting, then I place my feet on the floor and breathe out slowly three times”.
This repetition aims to make a chosen response more accessible when tension rises. It does not guarantee a result and does not replace care.
What the research says
A meta-analysis published in 2019 reports favourable effects of hypnosis on anxiety in the included studies, particularly when it complements another psychological intervention. The populations and protocols studied vary. These findings do not demonstrate Souffle’s effectiveness as a standalone digital intervention.
When should you seek help?
The program treats neither panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder nor post-traumatic stress disorder. If stress has a lasting impact on your sleep, work or relationships, or if you feel in danger, contact a professional or an appropriate emergency service. If you have epilepsy, schizophrenia or a history of psychosis, seek professional advice before sessions.
Frequently asked questions
How much time should I allow?
The journey lasts fourteen days, but you remain free to follow your own pace. Regularity matters more than seeking a perfect session.
Does Souffle use the microphone?
No. The application neither requests microphone access nor records your voice.
Are my notes private?
Your journal, plans and progress remain in local device storage. An encrypted export is available for backup.
